Julia Gorbach is an Emmy award-winning storyteller / director and multidisciplinary creative working within immersive / virtual reality, film, and video. Born in Ukraine, raised in NY.

Currently, Julia is an official member of NEW INC at the New Museum in NYC where she is developing an original interactive series, The Circle, while also freelancing as a director for a virtual reality series, a short film, and a number of conceptual moving visuals. 

Previously, Julia was a Founding Member and Creative Producer at The Skin Deep, an award-winning creative studio in Brooklyn, where she oversaw all creative development and production. Roles included: Global and US Producer  / Episodic Director of {THE AND}, Creative Director / Director / Producer of The Dig, Producer of Senior Orientation, Episodic Director of The Window, Producer of HonestX (in dev), and more. 

Julia also worked for a number of narrative films, video series, photo editorials, photography studios, and film festivals in NYC and Paris.
